| On the bunk card | Why the camp keeps it | How long the camp keeps it |
|---|---|---|
| Nickname | What the camp calls you | Kept until you clear out the bunk |
| Email address | Knowing which bunk is yours when you log back in | Kept until you clear out the bunk |
| Password hash | Checking your login with no readable password held here | Kept until you clear out the bunk |

Nothing else goes on the card. We never ask for your real name, address, date of birth, phone number or any payment detail, since the camp has nothing to sell. Your password is held only as a one-way hash. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (providing the account you asked for). Deleting your account wipes all of it at once, and the button for that sits on your account page.
| On the bunk card | What the browser keeps it for | How long the camp keeps it |
|---|---|---|
| Coins, level, chores and reel settings | Carrying your shift on where you stopped | Stays until you wipe your browser |
| Age confirmation | Saves the banner from pestering you page after page | Stays until you wipe your browser |
| Cookie choice | Noting the answer you gave the banner | Stays until you wipe your browser |
None of this leaves your device; the camp office never sees it.
Pick ‘Accept all’ and we run Google Analytics and Google Ads tags to measure visits and whether our adverts lead to play, such as a first spin taking place. Google then receives your IP address, device information and those events. Pick ‘Essential only’ and the tags run in consent mode with no cookies and no advertising identifiers. Lawful basis: consent.
The company hosting the camp keeps routine request logs, briefly, to keep the site secure. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
At any time you can access, correct, erase or restrict your data, object to processing and withdraw consent. Deleting your account on the account page erases the account data at once; clearing this site’s data in your browser takes care of the rest. Complaints can go to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Sawdust Ridge Camp is for adults aged 19 or over. Every reel turns on virtual coins with no monetary value, and those coins cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged. The camp keeps no coin shop and no payment page, offers no prizes of real-world value, and doing well at the sawmill does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
